CT Pardons Day
Landing Page

Overview

CT Pardons Day is a community-centered initiative, created to promote a free pardons event, providing accessible legal support to individuals seeking criminal record relief. The client required a fully accessible, single-page website that centralized event information, registration, and resources in one coherent experience.

Balancing warmth and clarity, the design incorporates illustrative, community-inspired visual elements and an intuitive structure that ensures visitors can easily navigate critical information without feeling overwhelmed.

Problem

The client needed all event information housed on a single page to reduce confusion and improve accessibility for attendees. Because the event serves a broad community audience, clarity and ease of navigation were critical.

The client requested a warm, illustrated aesthetic that reflected a sense of community and support, while still maintaining professionalism and trust for a legally focused event. The challenge was creating a visually engaging, single-page experience that balanced friendliness with structure.

Solution

I designed a structured four-section landing page that organizes event details, registration, and key resources in a clear and digestible format. To support accessibility I implemented anchor links that smoothly guide users to each section without requiring additional pages, maintaining the client’s “all-in-one” request while preserving intuitive navigation.

For the visual component, I developed banner graphics and a cohesive color system inspired by the client’s vision of the welcoming community environment. The final design blends illustration, warmth, and clean interface structure, ensuring the platform feels approachable while delivering critical information efficiently.
